Connecting Communities had another immensely successful annual event! We were so proud to welcome our guests of all abilities for an evening of celebration, community, and building leaders.

The highlight of the evening for us was FINALLY getting to share the project we’ve been working on for many months now:

The Connecting Communities Coalition Leadership Academy

Beginning in Spring 2013, a class of 1o students will complete a course designed to shape the next generation of leaders with disabilities. We’ll talk about leadership theory, best practices, and skill development – all in a setting accessible to all types of disabilities.
